  • Business and payment information needed to quote, invoice, and process payments for our services

  • Event and booking details: dates, venues, brief, and other information you provide when engaging us for photography, videography, sound, or related production services

  • Photographic, video, and audio content captured while providing services at your event, which may include images or recordings of you and other attendees

  • Technical information collected automatically when you visit our website (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages viewed), where applicable

2. Why we collect it

We use your personal information to:

  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and service agreements

  • Deliver the photography, videography, sound, and production services you've booked

  • Invoice and process payments, and meet our tax and accounting obligations

  • Communicate with you about bookings, deliverables, and support queries

  • Improve our services and, where you've agreed, share sample or portfolio content

  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations

We process your personal information because it is necessary to perform a contract with you (e.g. your service agreement), to comply with a legal obligation (e.g. tax record-keeping), or because you have given us consent — for example, where we'd like to use event footage or photographs in our portfolio or on our social media. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us using the details below.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who support our operations (e.g. cloud storage, accounting, or payment processing providers), under agreements that require them to protect your information

  • Professional advisors (e.g. our accountant) where necessary

  • Regulatory or legal authorities, where required by law

5. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, unauthorised access, or disclosure, including restricted access to client records and secure storage of footage and documents.

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above, including any statutory retention periods (for example, financial records required under South African tax law). Event photography and video content may be retained for portfolio and archival purposes unless you request otherwise.

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

  • Be informed that we hold your personal information

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Request correction or deletion of personal information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, or outdated

  • Object to the processing of your personal information, on reasonable grounds

  • Withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent

  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator if you believe we have not handled your information in line with POPIA
